BULLET PASSING THROUGH TOMATO
Andrew Davidhazy
Rochester Institute of Technology
The passage of a supersonic .22 caliber bullet through a tomato causes the
tomato to appear to explode. In this microsecond duration photograph taken at
the early stages of this event one can see the entry and exit points sending
internal fluids outwards, both in the direction the bullet came from and also
in the direction in which it is going.
